Artist Statement     

     As a contemporary mixed-medium artist, I specialize in realism portrait pieces with a strong focus on graphite and pastels. I strive to create timeless pieces, pulling inspiration from past and present pop culture influences throughout my life. I have always gravitated towards portrait work since it is what makes us unique in this lifetime. We often show how we feel through expression and I enjoy capturing that in my art.

     My subjects will span from iconic celebrities to people I have come into contact with throughout my life. My work ranges from the use of graphite, charcoal, pastels and paints on an array of paper styles. 

     My goal is to create fine art pieces that are both visually appealing and relatable to an array of generations. By incorporating a range of color palettes and subjects, my work will be recognizable across a large audience and stand the test of time.
